Our new 'home'
We moved into a new house today. It is such a nice house with unique qualities to its appearance but a totally different style to me. There are so many ornaments that could easily break so my mum put some away, just while we're living here. The thought of my brothers breaking one of those expensive vases or glass objects smacks me in the forehead. We live in a gated community with a nice pool down the road. There are tropical trees growing around. It is a beautiful sight to see sunlight passing its way through the leaves of the palm trees around the pool. There is a lovely lake as well to look at.'Florida is known for its many lakes',my dad had told me. During the day the sun is blinding to my eyes. I prefer swimming in the late afternoon. Inside the house we are staying in, there are four bathrooms. one of which has a spa. This house is a couple's spare house. Dust is not in sight at all. I try to imagine what the owner's other house they have would look like. The furniture in this house is Divine and good quality. The water is filtered and my room has a king bed with a bathroom. One advantage I have is that I don't have to share a room. I wouldn't think of sharing a bed with my brothers!! There is a table downstairs, where my brothers and I do schoolwork. Another joy of the house is there is a TV in every bedroom. There is also one in the lounging area, but we'll never use it, because of the TV in the kitchen area. In my mum and dad's room, they have a bed which can sit up and vibrate, but we haven't figured out how to turn it on! They also have a massage chair, which indeed sits up higher and vibrates. It is so relaxing. Their shower is twice the size of the shower we have home and they have two sinks and mirrors on two sides of the room, opposite each other. My brother, Jarom, has an electric piano in his room( which is why he chose that room). there is a piano downstairs in the lounging area. The outside of the house is a bit strange. A long carpet ramp leads down to the backyard ground and to the garage. the garage is at the back of the house. One scary thing in the house is the food waste disposer in the sink. My dad presented a "beautiful" description to me of what would happen to me if I put my hand down there. He talked about my finger chopped off with rivers of blood flowing down my bone, where my skin should have been, and other "lovely" stuff. I am grateful to be living in a lovely house.

28/5/12
This was our first full day in America. I slept in until nine-thirty and my family and I walked down to the cafeteria at the hotel. We had some breakfast there but it wasn't much. the food was okay but not the best.
Later that day, we went for a drive around Orlando. We found the entrance to Disney World and every couple of metres or more we see a fast food restaurant in sight from out the car window.
After that, we went to Florida mall. There were so many shops, I couldn't believe it. I was desperate to go running through the shops but my family and I were starving so we went to the food court and bought some lunch. It was massive and crowded. Every so often someone would comment on my sister while I stood there trying to get used to all the comments said by anyone who looked at her. Comments like:
'Awww she's adorable' or 'Aw look at her, she's just chilling in Florida!'
I was a bit over it.
After lunch, my mum took my brothers and I to M&M's world! It was awesome. Long cylindrical tubes ran down a wall filled with different coloured M&Ms. There were colours I've never seen before that you can't buy. We bought some M&Ms. There were not just M&Ms but there were clothes, pyjamas, m&m flavoured lipsmackers, cooking utensils, jewelry, pillows, teddies, ties, slippers, ornaments, snow globes and many more. There were also tubes along the roof, filled to the top with m&ms.
After that, we drove to Wal-mart. When I first walked in, I saw a Mcdonalds restaurant, food aisles, clothes and shoes, fabrics and craft and many more categories. It is like a big- W, Woolworths, Spotlight and the McDonalds put in one building. One of the things I bought were Reeses pieces for 98c.
Before it got too dark and went to bed, my dad, brothers and I went swimming in the pool. the water feels so refreshing and it is not too cold. We also relaxed in the luxurious spa. the warm bubbles vibrated against my back and gave me a massage.
Airports in L.A and Florida
My family and I were extremely tired. It was the middle of the night, in Sydney, at this time. I dozed off to sleep on a seat and rested my head on my backpack. I wanted my own bed to snuggle up into and sleep for many hours that I haven't slept for on the plane. There were many noises thumping into my ears and I was quenched. My mum, Jarom and I went looking around. we came to buy some water. I thought it was to share, but it was for my sister's formula milk. I sat there in disbelief as my mum said
"No it's for Eve".
I drank from a bubbler and slowly let the water moisten my dried up mouth.
Finally we went on the next plane. it wasn't as nice as the first aircraft we went on. We couldn't choose any movies or music as we could do so on the other plane and the TV was up high which we had to share, amongst the three people in a row.
I fell a sleep the whole five hour trip. my mum told me that air hostesses came around three times to hand out food and water but my dad, carter and I were sound asleep.
As we landed in Florida I just went with the flow and walked around half asleep. I went to the bathroom and noticed the toilets. I didn't know that they were different to the ones in Australia. They're filled halfway. I feel so stupid. I was about to about to ask a lady if they were blocked but found my mum and asked her. I told her:
" Mum what's wrong with the toilets?"
She laughed at me and told me they're just different.
We had to rent a car after going through security steps. The machine is a monster. I feel lucky to be able to travel around in a luxorious car. At times I have been confused and went to open the door i've usually went to open in Australia. It's confusing to see my dad driving on the left seat instead of the right. We left the airport and my dad began driving to the place we stayed at for a couple of nights. It is called Residence Inn.

In The Air
A loud buzzing noise vibrated through my blocked ears. I braced myself to the sudden movement of the massive aircraft.
It travelled along the black runway and flew in the cold windy air. It was early in the morning and I was tired and hungry. As hours passed, my eyes drew branching red veins out from my dark pupils and my eyelids had no control over themselves. They opened and closed as an effect of exhaustion. We were fed some food in sections of the day which gave my rumbling tummy a brake from moaning. The food was pretty good. I ate while watching 'Alvin and the chipmunks- shipwrecked' and tried to sit comfortably in my chair. The view from my window was very cool, as puffy clouds blew over the land and water below me. As the plane kept moving towards our destination, from out the window, I saw some islands. From up high it looked like shapes of weird-looking animals with greens and blues painted over their 'bodies'.
It eventually got dark but I wasn't tired until a couple of hours after the sun drifted away. The lights, on the plane's wing, was flashing and shone white streaks around the bulb's presence. I didn't sleep at all during the plane flight. It was a long time to be sitting in a chair. I'm not sure whether i am up for another long plane trip to anywhere else until years later.
